The Peaceful By and By

Today was Lain's bridal shower... I had lots of fun! I am still extremely tired though. I woke up at five am (!) because I was feeling sick and failed to go back to sleep. Now it's just after three and the only energy I have is from the short twenty minute nap I took earlier today and the party food, so I could pass out right now, but if I did I won't be able to fall asleep tonight. This stinks.

So I really want to create another blog for my bows... but I don't know if anyone will see it. I don't even know if anyone is reading this blog. Is anyone? Even if I did I would have to come up with a super spiffy name you know? Any Ideas? I have a few but I will keep them to myself!

I can't wait until we get our computer hooked back up! It was broken so we've been using my mom's work laptop that still needs a bunch of updates so i can't put anything fun on the blog :-(
Hopefully soon I will get a chance to add some fun gadgets!

Well I better go get ready for youth... I'm leaving in like fifteen minutes. I think we have a guest speaker tonight though so it should be fun. :-) Well, Bon Voyage!

Beyond Happy :-)

So today my Mom and I went shopping... but pretty much for nothing haha We just go to look around and see if we can find something we like. But today oh I found something I really like!!! We got a really good deal on a KEYBOARD!!! EEEP!!! It was on sale and it came with a stand and lots of extra goodies... now all I need is a sustain peddle and I'm good to go! Probably only my fellow musicians would appreiciate this... but I'm just too darn excited! I played for like four hours straight. I was threatened though... If I stop playing our actual piano my mom said she would sell it! So I told her i would name it so I would have an emotional attachment to it that way she could never let it go!!! I also gotta give a shoutout to my Daddy for letting us buy it... even though he'll probably never see it.

So besides being joyful.. I'm also quite scared... there's only twenty days until my first day of highschool (freshmeat)! Another new shool. Great. But this means i have a chance to start fresh and start sharing my faith without being intimidated. I'm planning and praying that I can go in strong and unashamed and win souls for Jesus!!!

Going on our family road trip wasn't the only thing I got to do this summer... I was able to go to Albuquerque, New Mexico for Pioneer Boot Camp. For PBC different teams of teens and their Leaders are sent to a one of our baby churches to work, outreach and plan for an outreach that everyone has to be involved in. There were teams being sent to Denton, Texas, Portland, Oregon, Pheonix, Arizona, Albuquerque, New Mexico and Farmington, New Mexico. I had a blast in ABQ, at Pastor JB and Gail's church, we outreached everyday for our big park outreach. Our group was one big family, us roadrunners are definately a wild bunch! So I'm sitting here Jammin to Toby Mac and I thought that hey... I haven't blogged in a long time! Alot has happened since the last time I blogged in June. I went on a road trip with my Parents and my sister... We went to Texas with the Broken play! It was amazing, God really moved! Texas was extra hot and humid... I sweated like a pig! after a couple of days there, we left to Cherryvale, Kansas. In One day we drove from Denton, Texas, through the entire state of Oklahoma, to a tiny city on the border of Kansas and Oklahoma. We went to go visit our close friends who, after moving here to the springs and staying for a few years felt home sick and felt the need to move back. After not seeing them for a couple of years, we decided to go visit them for a couple of days. We had the priveledge of staying in the house on their farm. They have two horses, a cow, a baby calf named bobaloo and a few chickens. We went and did a ton of stuff... I stood right where the Dalton gang was killed! Scray right? Not... but the next day we went to the Brown Mansion.. I don't know if you have heard of it, but I guess it's haunted or something but whatever. I got to play the old baby grand piano of the Brown Mansion! I was so excited! We went to the little house on the prairie, and sometime in all of this, I got a tick... a TICK! Nasty ugh! I had so much fun! I hope I can do it again!
